Moving the mic into a more traditional close-mic position under the lid gave us the sound we were looking for. By comparison the sE2200a is a little muddier in the lows and mids, yet may be desirable to some. For our first tests with the Origin, we took it along to a vocal session with a female rock vocalist. Style Name: Origin Cardioid MicrophoneVerified Purchase I read allot of reviews before taking the plunge, and OMG this mic is a serious contender to most mics well into the 4 figures! The XLR jack input and standmounting thread can be found on the underneath of the Origin, the latter allowing the microphone to be mounted directly to a stand. (Microphones so good, even Stevie Wonder is singing his praises for them!). Time to peer deep at the shifting sonic textures presented by the aptly-named Kaleidoscopes. The pad and filter legends are etched onto the steel, as is the company mantra “The art of performance”. The capsule is housed inside a random-weave mesh-knit stainless steel pop filter. These new cans, courtesy of German manufacturer HEDD, might just represent a more forensic way to monitor our mixes. Who Are The Voice Actors of Apex Legends?
