We have a long haired dog and a short haired cat that manage to produce more hair between them on a daily basis than an 80's metal band on Propecia. So I can take it up and down stairs easily. Thankfully, the carpet is dog colored (beige) otherwise we'd be unable to go to work due to all the vacuuming we'd have to be doing. Your carpet and rugs are not clean. What sets this vacuum apart from the rest is that it comes with half a dozen or more accessories! And true to its name, the Big Ball Animal + Allergy has a number of features that should be beneficial to pet owners and allergy sufferers alike. The attachments make is easy to remove dust from ceiling vents, ceiling fans, and baseboards. I end up dumping it 3 or 4 times before I get through the house. The Dyson sinks into the new carpet and is impossible to push. It has more suction than any other vacuum I have ever used and pulled an amazing amount of dust from my older carpets. You won't be disappointed. Also love all the attachments especially one for picking up hair out of sofas. I have 2 dogs and it gets all the hair up. I'll post a follow up in about 15 years - watch this space. It comes with a twistable fan nozzle, under sofa nozzle, handheld spinning brush attachment, and more! I struggled for a few days trying to decide what to do. Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal https://amzn.to/37rppcP I received this vacuum from Dyson to test and review, as I already own a Dyson. In the end, I decided to keep the Dyson for my older carpet and purchased a second vacuum for my new carpet. Rather than a lightweight stick design, the Cinetic is very much a member of the Dyson Ball family. The great suction which pulls so much dust from my old carpets makes this vacuum unusable on my new carpet. this thing takes care of that real quick. The Cinetic Big Ball is still considered a HEPA product, but it is the entire machine that gets the HEPA certification, not just the filter. It's a good choice for pet owners and allergy sufferers, there's no filter to worry about, and the company promises that it won't lose suction. ), How to Free Up Space on Your iPhone or iPad, How to Save Money on Your Cell Phone Bill, How to Find Free Tools to Optimize Your Small Business, How to Get Started With Project Management, Read Hoover Air Cordless Series 3.0 Review, Wyze Expands Smart Home Lineup With $199 Robot Vacuum, Sam’s Club Buys Hundreds of Autonomous Floor-Scrubbing Robots for Its Stores, The Best Amazon Prime Day 2020 Robot Vacuum Deals, iRobot's Roomba i3+ Offers Personalized Cleaning, iRobot's Wi-Fi-Connected Robot Vacuums Getting Clean Zones, Event Automations, The Best Smart Home Security Systems for 2020, The Best Bluetooth Headphones for Running. https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/dyson-cinetic-big-ball-animal-plus-allergy, Alex Colon is the managing editor of PCMag's consumer electronics team. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy vacuum beat out the excellent Oreck Touch for the top spot in our fine particle test. You can’t go wrong with this vac. Is it failing to pick up all the crumbs and debris that it used to? When it came to larger debris, the Cinetic didn't pull as far ahead of the competition. Design and AttachmentsAs always, Dyson has managed to craft an exceptionally good-looking vacuum. That's pretty impressive, and the Cinetic does an excellent job of sucking up just about any type of debris you throw at it. We desperately needed a new vacuum with our pets. And while Dyson's Cinetic technology is an admirable step forward, the truth is, this vacuum doesn't seem to offer a drastic improvement in cleaning over less expensive options. Pleasantly surprised about the amount of accessories that came with the vacuum. But that's not the case with the new Cinectic Big Ball Animal + Allergy vacuum from Dyson . User rating, 4.2 out of 5 stars with 7 reviews. You may unsubscribe from the newsletters at any time. I love my Vacuum … He previously covered mobile technology for PCMag and Gigaom. This vacuum is the best vacuum I ever had. We have a German Shedder, I mean Shepherd, and this thing works wonders. Happy we don’t have to worry about changing filters. I'd recommend this vacuum to anyone who wants to reduce dust and fur in their home. The vacuum comes with an impressive array of attachments, including a carbon fiber soft dusting brush, a multi-angle brush, and mattress, reach-under, and tangle-free turbine tools. On a side note, if you have back issues like myself, this is much easier to push! Dyson's ball design undoubtedly helps maneuverability; it's just that the sheer mass of the vacuum makes it feel somewhat cumbersome. I have allergis to dust and dogs and the filter system traps all dust and dirt without it escaping in the air. The bag for the accessories is very handy as well. Dyson builds a quality product. Areas I was vacuuming that visibly didn't seem like there was much in the way of an animal hair showed me I was mistaken because of how many times the vacuum's dirt chamber had to be emptied. Prices and offers are subject to change. Sign up for What's New Now to get our top stories delivered to your inbox every morning. This vacuum is worth every penny. It's very easy to clean, no mess. There's no way for me to verify this claim with testing, lest I delay this review an additional ten years, but I can say that the vacuum demonstrated an impressive amount of suction ability, no matter the type of debris involved or if the dirt bin was nearly full. Well, when's the last time you changed the filter? In testing, sometimes I'd hear it click into place, only for the top half to come tumbling down as soon as I pulled my hand away. This one also comes with the no tangle tool (great for staircases) and 2 other attachments that are not listed on the box or description. I own the $300 Dyson DC40 Origin, for instance, and the Cinetic doesn't make a big-enough difference that I'd consider upgrading. Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal: Performance. Typical Dyson manufacturing. They're positioned in such a way that the brushes reach the front and sides of the tool, capturing hair in every direction.
